At 16, Dayramir became pianist and composer for Irakere member, Oscar Valdes’ Diákara. After winning Havana’s JoJazz festival in '04 and '05, Dayramir has gone from winning 3 Cubadisco awards for his 2007 debut album Dayramir & Habana enTRANCé to performing in 15,000-seat stadiums with legends Chucho & Bebo Valdes and headlining Carnegie Hall, representing the young generation of Afro-Cuban jazz.
